Occupational Health and Safety Policy
 

General Statement

 

It is the Policy of Occupational Health, Safety & Environment Training Consultants LLC. (Hereinafter referred to as `ohset`) to conduct our business meeting and maintaining statutory health and safety requirements to the highest reasonably achievable standard. 


We consider the health, safety and welfare of our staff, students/learners, partners and public of paramount importance and will ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of our staff, students/learners, partners and others who may be affected by our activities.

 

To achieve this we will:

 

  • Make the necessary arrangements to ensure that hazards that could arise during our business activities are identified and risks to health and safety are assessed and they are either eliminated or controlled
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture throughout our company
  • Provide necessary safe equipment and safe systems of work to carry out our stated business activities
  • Ensure arrangements for safe travelling of our staff
  • Provide information, training and supervision to ensure the health and safety of our staff, prospective students/learners and partners.
  • Provide and maintain a working environment that is safe and without risks to health
  • Establish procedures to follow in the event of injury
  • Regularly consult with our staff on health and safety matters.
  • Monitor, review and audit this policy and the procedures in place to protect the health and safety of staff, prospective students/learners and partners.
  • Maintain records to support the implementation of the this Policy
  • Seek ways to continually improve the safety and health culture within the company and among its business contacts
